Corn! Corn! Corn!

It's snack time! And what do we have? Taadaah! Corn! Corn! Corn!

Yes, it's corn, but not the "not-so-sweet-corn". This is the "oh-my-gosh-it's-so-sweet-corn".

We commonly call it Japanese corn, in our place. I dunno if it's really from Japan or wherever. The important thing is that it's really very sweet! I love this sweet corn! Sometimes, people put some salt and dairy creme or margarine on it. But when it's this sweet, I guess, you won't have to do anything but eat all of it!

Ren, here, however, is eating a different corn. This is the "not-so-sweet-corn" added with powdered cheese to taste better. It costs around 20 pesos per large cup and is usually sold by carts. Kids love this treat a lot. I got to eat a lot of this before when I was still in high school. I used to buy in small cups and I get to eat it while its very very hot. Actually, just like pasta, corn is eaten best when it's freshly cooked.
