Fruit of the day: "Duhat"

Years ago, my mom planted a Duhat in our yard. From a small seed, the Duhat plant grew to become one of our favorite trees in the "backyard."

Today, we were able to gather a pail full of its sweet Duhat fruit. No need to add sugar or salt in it. We enjoyed eating it all day long, but because we have plenty of it, we won't be missing its sweetness in the coming days.

Thank God for such a great treat.

By the way, for those who haven't tried eating Duhat fruit, you'll seldom find sweet Duhat fruit around. Even when it's Duhat's season, most of the Duhat fruit we got to buy were bitter. Eating the bitter fruit won't make you happy. It can also taint your tounge with a bluish color. It's like eating a bubblegum. Don't eat this when you don't have a good toothbrush and tooth paste with you. He he he!
