Tahooooooo!!!

Do you miss hearing "Tahoooooooooo!?!?!"

Well, I don't. Every morning, a regular "manong" sells taho in our neighborhood and my father makes sure we all have a cup of the sweet taho from him. Each cup costs around 10 pesos. The price, of course, depends on where you're buying it.

Our local taho is safe to eat. We've proven it a lot of times. People are usually afraid of buying taho from local vendors because they fear having stomach problems. What we advise them is to avoid buying taho in the afternoon, when there is a possiblity that the taho is no longer fresh. Try buying it early in the morning when it's still very hot.

Some vendors accept simple requests from good customers such as request for extra/additional sweetener and "sago." Just be careful not to add too much sweetener or you'll make yourself prone to tonsilitis. He he he!
